DECEMBER PACK MEETING

Join us as we celebrate our scouting accomplishments from the last few months. Dens will be awarding adventure loops or pins to all scouts who have completed adventures. Scouts will also receive patches for activities they have participated in.

We will also be holding our Bobcat ceremony for all new scouts who have earned their Bobcat rank! This is always a highlight of the cub scout trail, and parents will be included in the ceremony. Bring your whole family, because you won't want to miss it!

We suggest bringing a camp chair for each member of your family who will be attending.

Wear your field uniform (Class A).

Join us in leading the opening flag ceremony at the Agoura Hills City Council meeting. Wear your Field Uniform ("Class A").

October 7 - Reyes Adobe Days Parade

Join our pack as we walk in the Reyes Adobe Day Parade! Wear your Field Uniform ("Class A"). If you have a remote-control car, bring it to drive down the parade path. Please arrive at the check-in area at Yerba Buena Elementary School no later than 9:15am

Rocket Academy 2023

    

 


Join us for our annual Rocket Academy kick-off event! This will be a fun afternoon of building and launching rockets. Come see how much fun it is to be a cub scout!

NATIONAL SUMMERTIME PACK AWARD

Our summer events are meant to be opportunities to get together and participate in some fun community events over the summer. As an added bonus, each scout who participates in at least one pack event during each month (June, July, and August) will earn the National Summertime Pack Award pin to wear on their uniform!

Independence Day Parade

    


Join Pack 227 as we walk in the Westlake Village 4th of July Parade!

Meet no later than 9:00 a.m. at the parking lot at 4415 Lakeview Canyon Road (old hospital site). Coffee and donuts will be available for purchase starting at 8:00 a.m.

The parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. and follows a short route (about a half-mile) to Berniece Bennett Park (31800 Village Center Drive). There will be food trucks and family activities available at the park until noon.

Scouts should wear their field uniforms ("Class A"). Already have your new neckerchief and hat for the fall? Please wear them! If you don't have your new uniform items yet, that's okay! You can wear your uniform from this past year.

This is a July event for the National Summertime Pack Award.

Touch-A-Truck

    
WHEN: Saturday, June 17, 2023, 10am - 2pm

WHERE: Thousand Oaks Community Park, 2525 N. Moorpark Rd, Thousand Oaks

Join Pack 227 at this fun community event in Thousand Oaks that features construction equipment, police and sheriff vehicles, fire apparatus, and more. Come see the trucks up close, climb inside and explore, meet the men and women who operate them, and ask lots of questions!

Wear your red Pack 227 t-shirt! Look for Mr. Hipp or another leader to check in and receive credit toward your Summertime Pack Award!

This is a free event. Family and friends welcome!
