Are you ready to become a Cub Scout with Pack 227?
Welcome to our pack website! Whether you are new to scouting, new to Pack 227, or a returning scout, this website has everything you need to know about our pack. Please feel free to contact us at BSAPack227@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like more information.
If you're ready to registrer, please complete the following steps:
- STEP 1 (BSA Registration): Complete the online Scouting America application and pay your Scouting America Annual Membership Fee ($160*).
- Scouting America Annual Membership Fees are set by Scouting America (national) and Western Los Angeles County Council (local) and are paid directly to Scouting America during the online application or renewal process. These fees do not go to our pack.
- You may elect to subscribe to Scout Life magazine (optional) for an additional fee.
- Scouting America also assesses a 3% administrative fee.
- STEP 2 (Pack Dues): Send Pack 227 your annual pack dues via Zelle (BSAPack227@gmail.com) or bring a check (made out to Cub Scout Pack 227) to our next meeting. Be sure to include a comment with your scout's name!
- Please contact BSAPack227@gmail.com for the current pack dues amount, which are calculated annually.
- Pack Dues pay for our program costs, including a pack t-shirt, den supplies, all Scouting awards earned throughout the year (badges of rank, adventure loops and pins, and other awards), pinewood derby, campsite reservation fees, event space and entertainment for the Blue & Gold dinner, and more.
- Returning Scouts:
- If you are a returning scout, your Scouting America Annual Membership Fees are now paid directly to BSA through an online renewal process.
- You will receive emails directly from Scouting America starting approximately 60 days before your membership expiration date with a link and instructions on how to renew your membership.
